About Annerie...

Hi, my name is Annerie, I'm 43 years old and I'm from The Netherlands. I really love sending and receiving postcards. I started to collect postcards when I was a teenager. In the beginning I just bought them for myself and a little later I also started to send them along with letters to my penpals. At the moment I don’t do penpalling anymore, but still love to write sent and receive postcards. If you are interested in a postcard pal from The Netherlands, you’re always welcome to send me a message.
I started my postcard collection with viewcards (the touristic ones) and I still like to receive them. But I do prefer to receive those cards written & stamped from country of origin! I mean it’s kind of strange to send me a card of for example Amsterdam from Germany… I do like most viewcards, but the ones I like the most are: illustrated (city) views, map cards, chronicle cards, greetings from (also from postallove and the so-called unofficial GF’s), lighthouses, beaches, castles & palaces, Unesco and people of the world, winter views
I also like it to receive cards from the several postcardseries, the ones I already have received you can find in my online album in several sections
In the category various collections you can find: HPC by papersisters
In the category map cards you can find: FOTW, MOTW, PWE, step to, united in diversity and wordclouds
In the category illustrated city views you can find: World Travel, WoW
In the category viewcards you can find: greetings from

Besides that I also like to receive the following kind of cards.
*illustrations from Jip & Janneke, Beatrix Potter, Anton Pieck, Belle & Boo, Cornelis Jetses, Rie Cramer, Charlotte Dematons, Marit Törnqvist, Elsa Beskow, winter illustrations
* Medici Society (Molly Brett, Racey Helps, Audrey Tarrant, Margaret Tarrant, Margaret Tempest, Jean Gilder)
* special designed meet up cards
* royalty
* Romy Schneider, Audrey Hepburn, Marilyn Monroe, Anne Frank
* Jane Austen
* vintage reprint advertising cards (NOT the free adcards...)
* coffee and tea related cards
* woman in classical paintings
* cards from the brands Cavallini & Co, Nouvelles Images, Tushita, Aquarupella
* Titanic
* tulips, white roses, (soft) pink roses, lavender
* you can also check my favorites here on postcrossing (that are cards I don't have yet) or my wishlist:

you can find the postcards I already have in my online album:

I like it to receive fully written postcards, not only the words "happy postcrossing". If you have no idea what to write, here are some ideas
-your favourite quote (and why);
-which place in the world you really would love to visit some day (and why);
-is there a book you recommend me, I like to read (historical) novels
-if I will visit your country, what should I really visit in your opinion?
