Bonjour! I'm Anne, 35 years old, living in Québec city, Québec, Canada. I studied literature and communications and I'm working as a Web editor specializing in health and social services.

I've always been fascinated by correspondence, postcards, foreign countries and cultures. When I was a teenager, I could spent several hours a day writing to my 40 penpals! :-) (I kept all the letters I received!) Now that I'm older, I like to travel and learn new languages to discover the world and learn about foreign countries' culture, way of life, food, and, of course, people.

My native language is French, but I also can write and read English. I can understand Spanish, so if it's your native language, don't hesitate to use it. I also studied Portuguese, so I can read and write in this language as well.

I love to read what people wrote on their postcards. Tell me something about yourself, your country, city or culture, write a typical recipe of your country, teach me some words in your native language, suggest me a book to read or tell me a secret, ... :-)

I'll be happy to receive any postcard. I enjoy both photos or illustrations on it. Colourful ones are my favorites!

If you need some ideas :

- vintage/retro travel publicities and illustrations in general (I'm a huge fan of vintage images)

- public places, streets, houses, doors, windows, stairs, architecture

- books, newspapers, libraries, bookstores

- New Yorker, Parisianer, Vogue, etc.

- markets, cafés, food

- parks, botanical gardens, flowers, plants, trees, birds

- metros (including maps) and other urban public transportation, airports

- people and everyday life

- funny images of people or animals (I put some in my favorites)

- politics

- Philippe Geluk (Le Chat)

- Postallove's "Greetings from..." postcards (I only got Finland so far)

- US Postcrossers : I'd love to get Obama postcards!

Please mention your name, city and country on the card, with the date you sent it. I also prefer stamped postcards so, if possible, please don't put it in an enveloppe. Thanks!

I received so many requests for long-term swaps and I'd love to accept them, but it is unfortunately impossible for me to do so. I have a very busy schedule and it's difficult for me to allow all the necessary time for this kind of "relationship" at the moment.
