About Anna...

Important note: as I try to stay away from political discussions and related - especially now because of various reasons, - you're kindly requested to refrain from any political motives or slogans, from sending any kind of "political" cards or stamps as my personal postcrossing is out of politics. This is probably the only topic where I send an empty hurray. Thank you for your understanding!

New collection for 2022: Inge Löök's old ladies (got 3, 4, 6-7, 16, 19, 22-23, 28-29, 33-34, 40-42, 50, 52, 55, 57-58, 60, 63, 65, 68-70, 72-73, 75, 604, 608, 614).

And now...
Hi everyone,
Nice to meet you here! My name is Anna; I am from Donetsk, the city of miners and iron & steel workers, but since 2016, I have settled in the Republic of Georgia. I live here with my husband and lots of cats! Some of them were rescued from the street, and some - born in our yard "kitty farm". "Tippy" the dog, who was taken from the crowded downtown and is probably a breed of a flat-coated retriever, joined the cats' society in August 2021.
I work as freelance translator of German and English, proofread texts in Russian/Ukrainian and give online-lessons of German and English.
Movies, music, architecture are among my hobbies. I also like reading and surfing in Internet.
If you don't know what to send me, here is something that would make me happy:
- Lighthouses: images of real lighthouses are preferred to the painted ones;
- Bridges, telephone boxes, post boxes as sign of your city / country / region (preferred to typical city views);
- Everything about coffee and tea;
- Trains, trams, cars, underground (or suburb, or metro, or U-Bahn);
- Blue cats by Rina Zenyuk (especially those starting from 2020), cats by Tatiana Rodionova, fleecy cats (флисовые котики) by Nika Appe, photos of cats - i.e., all about cats;
- Hello Kitty;
- For postcrossers from Belarus: "Planeta Belarus";
- For postcrossers from the Netherlands: Miffy (Nijntje);
- "Моя Россия" (My Russia) series;
- Large Letters (Greetings From) for the USA, by postcardfair.com (http://postcardfair.com/index.php),
- US-cities and states by "The Postcard Factory";
- "Outlander" series;
- Winter, snow, New Year, street lanterns in snowy streets, etc.: only in winter.

There are, however, some topics, which I do not collect:
- long cards,
- hand(self)-made cards, including photos, printouts, packs, those made from recycled materials etc.,
- cards from the Soviet Union,
- any singers, music groups/bands etc.;
- birthday cards;
- insects, especially various bugs;
- folded cards;
- Covid (both cards and stamps).
Thank you, and Happy Postcrossing!
