About Annette...

Un saludo desde España :o)
Hi, my name is Annette.
I'm from Denmark but have lived with my family in Andalusia, southern Spain, since 2004.
Me and my family would love to receive postcards from around the world :o)

My family:

MICHAEL (husband)... works as a programmer http://www.postcrossing.com/user/suresok

LUKAS (son, 13 years old)... schoolboy (8.grade)
http://www.postcrossing.com/user/lukandski

ANNETTE: (that's me!)... I work as an optician assistant.

BERNARD and CHUCK NORRIS: Guinea Pigs... and that's their job too :)

My family and I are proud and happy sponsors of 3 children through Children International (https://www.children.org/). A non-political, non-religious, non-profit organization with a transparent accounting. Your money goes where it is supposed to.
The main purpose is to help ONE child at a time out of poverty. You are in direct contact with the child and can form a very strong bond and relationship via letters, gifts and photos.
Sponsoring give us the feeling that: Yes, we DO make a difference, we CAN "change the world" - one child at a time <3. It is more manageable, right? ;)

Back to the postcards ;-)

MICHAEL is very interested in calligraphy and all kinds of written characters, letters, signs, symbols. Japanese, Chinese, Taiwanese, Korean, Russian, Gothic, runes, hieroglyphs - any kind. A postcard with a picture of written letters/characters on the front (and translation on the back, please;) will make his day.

If there exists a postcard with something from Assasins Creed, you will make LUKAS soooo happy! Or something with football (soccer), table tennis or martial arts.

And ANNETTE loves all the remaining types of cards! Weird, different, colorful, black and white, sepia, what-would-you-like-to-show-me-from-your-country, shoes, doors, windows, street lights, sweets, handmade-not-folded, chocolate, national costumes, normal people doing everyday things, street views with people from your country, faces of people from your country, coffee, well .. ANNETTE loves ALL kinds of postcards, period! :-)

BERNARD says he doesn't know what he likes the most - and then it's not worth asking CHUCK NORRIS, - he will not know either.

We do not collect stamps even though we've already received some very beautiful ones. It's a little unfair to the serious collectors, so just put the required postage and save the super-stamps to those who know how to appreciate them. The postcard itself with something written by you means everything to us.

I have listed some postcards as "Favorites". They are a mix of received and not-yet-received cards ;)Many of the received cards are not favored due to the image but because of a nice text written on the back. It doesn't mean that we don't appreciate other cards. Each and every card is highly treasured!! :o)

Happy, happy postcrossing! <3
Annette
