Hi there, I live on the outskirts of Greater London with my husband and two children aged 13 and 11. As a family we enjoy the outdoors and can be regularly found walking or cycling in our local parks or along the River Thames.

I love nature and all things science and enjoy using my binoculars to spot birds and animals around me. Calligraphy, drawing and sewing are some of my other hobbies and these activities help to keep me sane when we're stuck indoors on a rainy day!

We are originally from South Africa and have been living in England for about 16 years.

I love the concept of sending and receiving postcards from all over the world and my children and I are enjoying this activity together. I really don't mind what postcards I receive and I would love to hear more about the natural world which surrounds you in your part of the world.
