Hello, my name is Ambrishta. I am from Mauritius, which is a small island in the Indian Ocean (a tiny dot not too far from Madagascar). I live in a little village called Arsenal. If you have not heard of Mauritius, let us just say that it is an island reputed for the sea, the sun, its sandy beaches and luxury hotels. However, I like to believe that there is more to my country, like its history, cultural diversity or the Creole and colonial influence to name a few.
I am a law student. I recently graduated from university and I shall soon be attempting my examination to become a Notary.
Travelling is something I would really love to do and hopefully once I am done with studies, that is what I plan on doing. In the meanwhile, I am travelling the world in my way, that is through post cards. These certainly help me choose the destinations I would like to visit.
Another way for me to travel the world and maybe even travel to imaginary worlds, are books. I love reading and in my free time, I write as well. It's a way for me to learn and discover as well as to relax.

I would love to receive any postcards from you. However, I would like you to write something on the post card apart from Happy Post Crossing. Imagine a distant time in the future where human race has been wiped out and all man made inventions and constructions have been destroyed. An intelligent alien being, who is knowledgeable about human languages, has come to earth and he finds nothing but ruins. But then, somewhere on an island, he comes across an old box which contains post cards. Imagine that your post card is in that box. WHAT WOULD YOU WRITE ON THE CARD TO LET HIM KNOW THAT YOU AND THE PLACE IN THE POST CARD HAD EXISTED? WHAT WOULD YOU LEAVE AS MESSAGE TO LET HIM KNOW ABOUT THE SPLENDOR AND MARVELS OF THE HUMAN RACE?

If you have difficulties coming up with something to write about, then no worries. Maybe just write a little something about you, but again it should be more than just Happy Post Crossing. ;)

Do let me know if you would like postcards or stamps in return? I would be really glad to send something in return. And if you add something more than a post card (like a little souvenir etc..), do expect a little something from me as well.
