About Amanda...

Hello,
I am 33 these days and I wish I could leave and move about like postcards still do. There is a lot that is not making it the Sates. It takes forever to get thing delivered. Prices have skyrocketed across everything. From food to gasoline. I am not as optimistic about the future as I once was. I am more skeptical and cautious.
I am not super cheesy and all, but I do enjoy a lot about what life has to offer. I try to be optimistic and stay positive. I have a darker sense of humor than most. Which I am learning to reel in. Not everyone thinks I am as funny as I personally think I am.
If you can, please send me a coin or paper money or ticket of your country. A concert ticket, pamphlet or paper of some kind. Maybe even your favorite poem. I like collect all of them.
Thank you very much!
My dream is to travel all over the world and take part in whatever culture I land in. I know the rest of the world has so much more to offer than, I could ever imagine on my own.
Also, please feel free to write your cards to me in your own language, if English isn't native for you (or even if it is). I think it is strange everyone seems to know English but everyone in the States hardly know a second language.
So, please send letters or little notes with your native language on them too. Please. (I will like them all the more, even if I have to take time to translate, it would be a great pleasure. It really would. I want to learn more than just English.)
Orcas (Killer Whales) are my absolute favorite animal and I can't wait to see them in person and swim with them. (Yes I really do want to swim with them. They are stunning and mysterious.) I have two cats, but I am really a dog person. I have a small family and live in Riverview-Tampa Florida.
It is not as sunny as you might think, we get a lot of rain, but when we get those good beach weather days, they are prime time. Florida is a very unique state. A different mix of people, cultures and personalities.
We get all the retirees and people coming in for tourists reasons. We do have Disney world here. I live less than 2 hours from there. I used to be able to say I lived in a small town, Riverview, it is not small anymore. There is always new construction and they can't seem to make the roads bigger fast enough.
I would love to hear from you and write to you as well. I am self proclaimed writer. ( I really just have a passion about it. Maybe one day I will get published. Then again I have to finish a piece first. )
I am stoked to meet you!
Cheers from the USA
