Amalgam

My name is Alex and I was a Science teacher on the Rosebud Indian Reservation in South Dakota. After spending three years with the Lakota or Sioux I went to the farmlands of Delaware to be an 11th Grade Chemistry Teacher.

Before becoming a teacher I was a park ranger with the National Park Service at Great Basin National Park Nevada, Capitol Reef National Park Utah, Redwood National Park California, and Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area Pennsylvania.

My hobbies are hiking, cooking/baking, photography, and anime. Other interests are history, nature, and science.

I also love traveling, but I have not done too much international travel. I went to France and Spain in high school and went to Taiwan to visit my sister last summer. However, I have traveled extensively in the USA going to 42/50 states.

I do not collect stamps so do not go out of your way to get fancy stamps, although if there are interesting stamp I would appreciate it.

As far as postcards go I would like something that represents your country. Please no overly generic postcards.

Above all I would like to hear from you! Tell me something interesting about you country or send me a recipe. As long as you think it is interesting I am sure I will love it.

Anything from United States popular culture like Pixar, Disney, Walking Dead etc..., after all I live in the US. I want to hear about your country

I try to register cards as soon as I can, but we do not have delivery to our houses where I live. So it may take a few extra days to get the card as I have to make time to go to the post office.
