I am not big on tourist style cards and multi views (views, buildings) unless they are vintage or Kitch  : ) I particularly like vintage tourist cards. I hope this is not confusing : ) I live in a tourist town and see so many glossy views, so I love seeing tourist cards of the more vintage style. I also like odd views; there seems to be Postcard style in our town of postcards of the carpark taking up much of the picture and the beautiful view is almost an afterthought in the background. I love these cards!

If an old card is creased, weathered or stained don't be shy about sending it -it adds to its history.

A note on my favourites -
I know that this gallery is big and unwieldily! There are so many beautiful cards out there:) Thanks for taking the time and looking through, I am trying not to let this gallery get too huge! I love and appreciate ALL the cards I get, so don’t be disappointed if your card you have send to me has not made it here, It certainly does not mean that I don’t treasure it :)

Or send what you like, tell me why you love it. I have this list because I just love a list, it helps me on my scavenger hunt of picking a card. Most of all I LOVE THE WORDS, THE WRITING - I love reading what people write, a little story thought up when pen hits paper - why the card was chosen, your connection with the card or something you just want to share.

I please don't forget to put the date on the card!

Give the Postie a treat, unless the card needs an envelope, let it see the world!

Thanks for reading!
