Hallo! You're going to send me a postcard? Nice! What, you need ideas? Oh...
Let me introduce myself first, maybe this will help: I'm a 32 year old bookworm from Bavaria, Germany though I'm still a child at heart. I'm very interested in: ART, HISTORY, LANGUAGES, FOOTBALL (Bayern fan here) and ANIME.
I would be happy about every nice postcard. But if you happen to have postcards related to the following themes...
Sherlock Holmes, Alice in Wonderland, Charles Dickens, Edward Gorey, gothic images, history, people, gravestones, statues, anything typical to that era
GOLDEN AGE OF HOLLYWOOD (1920s-1950s)
Silent movies, classic movies, classic cartoons (Mickey Mouse, Tom & Jerry), famous actors or actresses (Basil Rathbone, Clark Gable, Charlie Chaplin or Shirley Temple), Our Gang comedies
TOWNS / REGIONS / LANDSCAPES / NATURE
Aerial view, night view, landmarks, mountains, forests or lakes, lonely roads, aurora borealis, fog, rain, rainbows, thunderstorms, waterfalls, space
Vincent van Gogh, Caspar David Friedrich, René Magritte, Francisco de Goya, William Blake
stadiums, clubs, competitions in any sports
Train/Subway maps, Where is Waldo?, Doctor Who, Keep Calm, books-related stuff, folklore, fairy tales
... I would be happy to receive them. But if you don't have them, it's no problem at all. ^__^
PLEASE date the postcard and PLEASE don't put it in an envelope (unless it's really necessary like for home-made cards). I prefer the postcards stamped. ^_~
And PLEASE, it would be really nice if you could write something more than a "Greetings..." on the back. I want to know something about the person who sent me a card so try your best!
If you don't know what to write, just tell me...
... a creepy story, folklore or an urban legend.
... about your favorite book, movie, song, football team, etc. (and why you like it/them).
... your favorite word in your native language and explain it.
... what you wanted to become when you were a child.
... what is going on in your life or your city/region/country.
... a less known fact about you or your city/region/country.
... a random fact you want to share.
That would be much appreciated. And if you like to draw, draw me something cute on the card. ^_^
Thank you for reading this, don't forget to put your ID on the card and let's pray for a safe journey of your postcard to me. d^_^b I will usually register a postcard on the day I received it.
