I'm Sasha, or Alex, or Alexander and I learn English!
I'm from Krasnoyarsk, the city located in the middle of Russia, the largest country in the world. I really love my country🇷🇺 I suppose all Russians can be proud of their history. Indeed, Russian history is unbelievable, some facts are suspicious. Russia was formed in 862 and there were a lot of occasions to take place through these long 1150 years we study at schools and universities.
My life is full of things to do every single day. I go swimming 2 times a week - it's the best sport for me to clear my mind, to keep in fit. Also I learn English - my favourite hobby, I think it'll be extremely useful in future as I'm going to become a translator or something connected to languages🗣️
I like my parents, we go to dacha (Russian countryside where we chill out) every weekend. There are plenty of flowers, plants (onions, peas, potatoes and so on).
Foreigners usually think we have really cold winters in Russia. Well, there is some truth😐 For example, this winter (2019) turned out to be amazing for me and my classmates - we didn't go to school for one week (but Thursday) because of low temperatures. We can relax at home if there is -35°C outside, and there were about -37°C weather. Oh, we were dancing when didn't go to school, hah😂 However, we have, I'd say, hot summers as, for example, today (June, 21) is +29°C. And these temperatures were all during the June. In addition, July is far, well, warmer than any of months.
I have read 2 books in English so far this summer (2019) - first 2 parts of Harry Potter. It was a great experience as the versions in translations were far worse than the original ones.
As for my travelling experience... Ok, it's not the best one BUT I've already travelled across Russia. I've been to Turkey twice (the only foreign country I've visited). Russian cities visited: Irkutsk, Kansk, Moscow, Saint-Petersburg (my favourite), Anapa, Sochi, Nalchik.
My postcard preferences:
1) Maps of your countries and anything connected with your country symbols;
3) Harry Potter;
4) Landscapes and sights of your towns/cities;
5) Beautiful drawings and paintings;
6) NEW YEAR CARDS IN DECEMBER;
7) birthday cards in May.
Please, no homemade cards❗
And I would also be cheerful if you wrote anything exciting on your postcard. For example,
1) what is your country famous for;
2) what your friends' and your stereotypes of Russia were (or are);
3) have you ever been to the Russian Federation? What did you think of it?;
4) your exciting life story;
5) if you were living in the other country, why have you moved to your place.
I'm a coin collector, so... Please, put some coins from your country into the envelope. Any coins you want, thanks in advance😊
DATE THE POSTCARD📅
PLEASE, NO CURSIVE❌
Thank you so much indeed!
