About Andrea...

...she lives in England since 2009, but is originally from Germany.
She is a mum of one little girl and a freelance translator.
Andrea likes animals (alpacas are one of her favourites), comedy, good thrillers in all forms (books, films, audio books), different kinds of music, cooking (and eating) and nature.
She is also fond of Jan van Haasteren jigsaws and Sudoku.

Andrea is glad to live in a part of the world where seasons are changing as she likes them all. Unfortunately she rarely sees snow around London.
She is very lucky to live just opposite one of the Royal Parks of London with wild deer roaming freely.

When she was still at school, many years ago, Andrea had pen friends from all over the world. This Postcrossing project is a reminder of that time for her.
She likes travelling and has spent some time in Spain (as an au pair and later at university) and India (working as a translator).
One thing she would love to experience one day is the midnight sun, that time of year at a place where it doesn't really get dark at night.

Cards you send her can be in German, English or Spanish.
She likes funny (cartoons), colourful and/or unusual (art) cards, but she doesn't collect anything in particular.
Anyway, it's important that YOU like the card you send, as ultimately a postcard is about the sender, a little piece of you/your life, not so much about the addressee.
Any card is welcome, preferably without envelope and in standard postcard size because they will be collected in an album.
It would be great if you could tell her something about yourself and your country/city and why you chose/like this particular card. Unfortunately there is usually no space for more than that on a postcard... ;-)
Both sides of a card are equally as important to Andrea.
Please also include the date on your card.

Andrea doesn't have a scanner. If you own one, feel free to scan the card you received from her and upload the picture to replace her rather dilettantish photograph of the card.

Thank you so much! :-) Receiving "real" mail (other than bills) is one of the best things ever.

++++++ 26/02/2018: I received a surprise today - RU-4619809, a card which was apparently travelling for over a year and therefore can't be registered. Thank you anyway! :-) +++++++
