About Yuri...

I like photography, mainframes, traveling, music and more. The postcards at my city are boring, so I make my own if the receiver likes B&W postcards. Spanish stamps are a bit boring thought, so sorry in advance for that.

Send anything you like (I am not picky!). If it's old/strange/beautiful, all the better. Writing the date helps! If you know shorthand it would be AWESOME to receive an entire postcard written on it

I like to swap stamps (I look for used scientist, inventions and scientific/technologic milestone stamps) and have pen-pals around the world. If you want to swap just PM me, I will be more than happy to look for a postcard for you

I actually would LOVE to receive postcards (If they exist) of:

-Austria: Wiener Philharmoniker
-Denmark: Royal Danish library
-England: National art library, diamond light source
-France: Shakespeare and company bookshop, chateaus and medieval castles
-Germany: New Stuttgart library, BMW central building
-Japan: Temples/shrines, aikido/kendo, trains, J-Core event flyers, snow, food, traditions, architecture, manga…
-Netherlands: Rijkmuseum library
-Russia: Landscapes and animals in Siberia
-Scotland: Landscapes from Skye and highlands
-Sweden: Stockholm library, Phaeno science center, dreamhack
-Switzerland: St. Gallen abbey library, zurich central library
-US: Library of congress

Elsewhere:

-Portraits of researchers, scientists, photographers and local historical characters
-Science, space (Skylab, MIR, STS, Hubble), technology and history
-Maps
-Architecture and structures
-Street scenes and traditions, classic or old photos
-Planes, trains, tanks, subs, ships, machines

Here are some of the things I like (Not in a particular order):

-Photography. I REALLY like street photography, portraits and conflict photojournalism.
-Literature and calligraphy, libraries, bookshops, comics and manga. Detective and spy stories, science fiction and historical
-Orienteering, hiking, cartography (I love maps) and topography
-Lockpicking!
-Architecture (Modernism, minimalism, Japanese architecture) and bridges, skyscrapers, towers or lighthouses
-Archaeology and history. Egypt, feudal Japan (Japan in general), east Asia and northern Europe.
-Anything science related. Physics, chemistry, astronomy, biology, geology, psychology/psychiatry… If it helps me understand how something works, I'll love it! Specially everything space related
-Mainframes, supercomputers, IT and power infrastructures (Datacenters, IXPs, power plants…)
-Music (Every genre except Latin music), I play bass guitar sometimes
-Planes, trains, submarines, freight ships and harbours
-Idioms. I'm trying to learn sign language, German and French. Looking forward to learn Russian and Japanese
-Cubing, riddles, puzzles, codes, brain teasers and mysteries. Board games like chess and go
-Video games, movies, Roleplaying, cooking, fixing stuff.

If you can't find any send anything you like, I will like it too!
