I live in Hendersonville North Carolina, a summer tourist destination. Hendersonville is also known for growing lots of apples. We are in western North Carolina, the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Love reading and do some quilting. I’ve just taken up knitting and have made several easy items during the COVIVD quarantine. I enjoy meeting with my book club to discuss books we have read.

I live here with my husband of 50 years. We have 3 children. Two live close by and one lives in Alaska. My daughter is a musician and plays cello with several local orchestras and quartets. The oldest son is farming - apples of course and a few animals. Youngest son works for Alaska Fish and Game. Visiting him and seeing beautiful Alaska is a treat.

Listening to music happens most days. Like all kinds of music - rock to classical. I do like sitting outside listening to all nature’s sounds. Just have rediscovered this during quarantine.
