Hello! My name is Amy and I live near beautiful Asheville, North Carolina, USA located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. I have the best job in the world as a school librarian. I enjoy helping students find the perfect book to read and understand how to research and discover the joy of learning.

I am married and have twin 11 year old boys. In my free time, I like to read (historic fiction, most types of non-fiction and children's literature), travel to new places, hike, swim, try new recipes and sleep (11 year old boys are wild!). Autumn is my favorite season and I collect decorative pumpkins. We recently adopted a black labrador mix dog from an animal shelter. He is so funny-he does not like the rain or a bath but loves to jump in a river and drink the water.
