Hello! We are the residents of a nursing home located in a small town on the central coast of California. We love receiving cards from all across the world and reading about what you enjoy doing in your country. Our activity director wants to prove to us that we are not forgotten!

We have a large bulletin board with a world map that all post cards are being attached to so we can see exactly where we are in collecting the countries.

The Avatar picture is part of our Farm that is on the facilities property. It includes 26 fruit trees, a 48 foot green house, a chicken coop, two potbelly pigs, two mini goats, a few ducks, and several raised wheel chair accessible garden beds. We give the food that is grown on the farm away twice month at food banks, along with canned goods that we bag provided by the local food bank program.

We love postcards that show something in your country/state/city/ect. We really enjoy learning about the other countries, and often times a picture postcard starts conversations that gets us looking up information and helps us continue to learn, even in our old age!
