About Roni...

Hi- My name is Roni (typically a boy's name, but I'm female)

My interests are music (I play cello & piano & like to listen to music), reading (history, literature, WW2 books, poetry, memoirs), traveling when I can, going to the ocean, and animals. I collect books, postcards, and old photographs. I have a library degree but am not a librarian. Currently, I'm doing part-time freelance fact checking in book publishing. I live in a little white very old house in a medium-sized town 25 miles south of Seattle. I share the house with a 15-year old black lab named Colonel and several older cats. Thanks for reading this, and thanks, also, in advance for any card that you send to me. I love receiving cards, but I also tremendously enjoy reading people's profiles and trying to find a perfect card to mail.

I have a few suggestions for things to write about that I'd love to hear about! Maybe something about your family history like a real story or funny anecdote, something about your family origins or a tale that has been passed down, even as a family myth or legend that you can't be sure is true! Also, I'd be delighted to hear any true personal or secondhand stories regarding ghosts or spirits, paranormal experiences, strange coincidences, mysterious experiences that still make you thoughtful or curious. Finally, perhaps a treasured memory, favorite person, a dream or regret, or a random thought you've had lately. Those are just some ideas.

But Thank You Truly for anything at all! Any card brings me happiness.
