Hello. I'm Isabelle. I live in France near St Malo. I have two little boys. I work with seniors in a retirement home.
I registered on the postcrossing site at the beginning of February 2018. I have always liked to send postcards to my family and friends during our holidays or to send them greetings. But my children and I have become passionate about postcards since we received the first postcard from my brother who was on holiday abroad. I think that it makes us travel and escape reality without leaving the house and my children can learn some geography and about the different cultures of the world. I have never had the chance, the opportunity and the finances to travel abroad but I think that Postcrossing can only reinforce my desire to discover the world. I speak, write and understand very little English, so this might be a problem but this experience may make me improve !
- I particularly like postcards with the name of the city or country where it is from. I also like photos of a place, a custom, tradition or anything else emblematic of your city.If you had the choice of a postcard to represent your country, your region: Which one would you take?

- Animals (especially jungle because they are the favorites of my children)

- The starry sky, Aurora borealis, rainbow

Here are a few examples of what you can write on the card: introduce yourself, write about the place you live in, customs, traditions, your way of life, your climate, what's on the postcard...
And I collect magnets of the country.
I like discovering and learning new things.
