About Emily...
I like learning about different countries and I like cool and different stamps (vintage, plants, animals, etc.). I think that vintage-style postcards (especially relating to the natural world) are really cool, as well are maxicards and nice homemade postcards.
If you could write a phrase in your native language, that would be neat!
I live in Nebraska, U.S.A with my parents, siblings and many pets. We have 1 bird, 6 cats, 1 guinea pig, 1 fish, 2 rabbits, 2 leopard geckos, 1 crested gecko, 1 bearded dragon, 13 pigeons, 14 ducks, 28 (in counting) chickens, 2 dairy goats, several house plants, 5 sheep, and 5 billy goats (for the summer).
I do lots of things in Nebraska 4-H, including showing poultry, sheep, and goats and a lot of static exhibits, like sewing art, wildlife conservation, photography, horticulture, and many more. I am also involved in FFA.
I really like thunderstorms, making graphite drawings and linocut prints of animals, music, and all animals (especially birds and cats).
Where I live, there are lots of corn and soybean fields. It is also one of the central flyways for migrating birds, so in the spring and fall, I see lots of waterfowl, sandhill cranes, and other birds. I am a member of eBird and enter my bird sightings on the online database. I have participated in the American Birding Association Young Birder of the Year mentoring program.
