Deception Pass Bridge is the longer span in Island County and Canoe Bridge is the shorter section. This bridge is the connection to Fidalgo Island to the North and Whidbey Island to the south and is part of Deception Pass State Park. Whidbey Island is the longest island in the Continental United States.
The far south end of the island is served by Ferry boat service from Clinton to the mainland at Mukilteo, which is North of Seattle, Washington.
