The Lockheed Constellation (Connie) is an 18-cylinder Wright R-3350 4-star propeller airliner. It was built by Lockheed between 1943 and 1958 at its factory in Burbank, California. A total of 856 aircraft were produced in several versions, all recognizable by the triple fin and the dolphin-shaped fuselage. |
