This stunning formation called Los Hervideros ("boiling pots") developed from lava as a result of a volcanic erruption about 300 years ago. It is located on the coast of Lanzarote - one of the Canary Islands.

Only a tiny part of this breathtaking coastline is shown in the postcard - it covers a wide area and consists of a labyrinth of caves where waves crash making the water "boil". Would love to go there and watch this extraordinary spectacle of nature! Thanks a lot, Jurga! :)
