This scene is a typical Ojibway Indian encampment, built on half scale, using authentic methods and materials. There are also displays of early period household utensils, gadgets and tools, also early period clothing, furniture and log houses. See demonstrations of wool spinning, harness making, blacksmithing, and birch bark canoe building. |
