Hello from New Orleans!

Some of you may have seen my profile earlier about my student and I working together towards our postcrossing adventure. Sadly, it has come to an end... My student is going to a different school next year, so we won't be together to write postcards.

But I've enjoyed receiving postcards over the summer so much, that I'm going to continue on!

I'm 25 years old and have lived in New Orleans for 2 years now teaching special education in the public schools here. I love teaching! I work with Kindergarten students (they're 5 and 6 years old).

I studied photography and human rights in college, but found that my love was really in teaching.

I obviously would love any kind of postcards, but especially:
-arts/photography (anything graphically interesting)
-vintage or antique (old) postcards
-portraits
-cards from art museums
-handmade
-birds
-insects
-cats
-nature
-humorous postcards are always great!
-food
-picturesque things
-unique cultures or traditions or scapes from where you live

I'm not a huge fan of the general "cityscape" cards of a bridge or buildings, unless its very dramatic or picturesque.

please date your card! i also love beautiful stamps if you can snag some on there.
