About Ziinyalove...

I live in the beautiful state of Minnesota in the United States, and enjoy everything about the outdoors... fishing (especially ice fishing in the winter), hiking, kayaking, camping and conservation. I love studying the history and culture of places around the world.

I would enjoy and appreciate very much any postcard you select to send to me - and would love if it is written in your native language (and translated to English). I am very interested in learning about your culture and the things you enjoy in life.

But if you would like suggestions, my favorites are map postcards, or other cards about where you live. And I have been fascinated by these kinds of postcards:

* street scenes (windows / doors / alleys / shop fronts / benches)
* stained glass windows
* rooms (kitchens are the best.. they are the heart & soul of the home)
* interesting people
* art (I love Picasso, Escher, Van Gogh, Renoir... and so many others!)
* bridges
* trains / buses / bicycles / subways (or other forms of transportation)
* architecture (historical and modern)
* based on literature
* music (musicians / instruments / cover art / etc...)
* films / TV shows from your country
* food & drink (especially the tempting kind... beer or wine! chocolate! hamburgers!)... or one with a recipe you'd like to share.
* famous landmarks
* lovely scenery
* plants and wildlife

I also love postcards that are very unusual and unexpected...

* unique, surreal, colorful/gaudy, haunting, artsy, black & whites, etc.

For anyone interested in a swap, I have many beautiful postcards from Minnesota, and will also try to find some very interesting, unusual postcards here in the Twin Cities... the cities are very trendy and artistic. I look forward to the hunt.
