About Jurga...

Hi!

My name is Jurga. I am 31 years Lithuanian living in Spain. Since I was little I was very fond of the traditional mail and I always adored to send/receive letters and postcards. When I was a teenager I used to have a lot of pen pals around the globe. Later due to a lack of time I couldn’t enjoy this fantastic hobby anymore till I got to know about postcrossing!!! :) Thanks to this great project I can enjoy sending and finding the traditional mail and my post box once again!!! What also make me esp. happy is travelling!!! Visiting new places, knowing new people, learning about their culture, history, traditions and customs I feel that I live and I feel very rich of the knowledge and information I get!!!

I know there are people who don’t like to read long wish list but I am sorry I have got it and here you can see some theme and types of postcards that would make me especially happy:

* Atelier Nouvelles Images
* Alfons Mucha
* reprints of vintage posters and advertisements
* retro/vintage
* books
* wine related
* windows, doors, yards
* Old ladies by Inge Löök
* berries
* cheese, bread
* coffee, tea
* sweets (cup cakes, macarons, piece of cake or pie)
* mail/post box
* Gustav Klimt
* Leonid Afremov
* Natasha Chetkova
* Gotochi
* old Russian cartoons
* Aurora Borealis

* and please take a look at my favourites as they reflect very well what postcards make my day. :)

If you don’t have anything from my mentioned postcards, don’t worry, they are just suggestions, not a must! :) I just don’t like ad-cards, multi-view or home made cards.

I don’t mind stamped postcards but I PREFER to receive them in ENVELOPE because I collect stamps too and so in this manner I can add stamps to my albums without damaging the postcards. However, it’s up to you. :) If you have some used stamps that you don’t need you would make me very happy (they can be from any country)! In return I could send you a thank you card or some stamps if you collect them too. :)
Although I ask to send postcards in envelope I love them to be written!

I have 2 postcrossing accounts and lately I have received some repeated postcards, so I decided to create a web album of my already received postcards. I classified them by countries and some themes. So, you can take a look at this site https://picasaweb.google.com/106491215931524932988.

And here is my second account of postcrossing http://www.postcrossing.com/user/Jurgitele

Thank you and happy postcrossing! :)
