About Ira...

Hello! I live in Tomsk, it's a city in Siberia, Russia. I love languages and I work with them (I'm a University teacher). Some day I hope I'll be able to speak more, I've started to learn Portuguese, but I can say only some phrases for now. But if you a from Portugal or Brazil, please, write something in your language (with a translation)). My nickname was made when I was a child from a Portuguese version of my name (Irene), but written differently. My situation is quite better with English and French which I speak fluently and teach to others. I really love French music and good British (or Americain) TV-series (for instance, I'm a fan of Doctor Who / Merlin / Downton Abbey / Sherlock). I also love traveling and visiting my friends in different parts of Russia. I have a nice cat Fanny named after the main character of "Mansfield park" by Jane Austen. We are very fond of each other)

Postcards make me feel excited. I welcome all kinds, but I would be pleased to receive cards with:

and I'm mad about beautiful stamps))

I don't always like typical city views, except for really beautiful or artistic. I also prefer cards that are thick, not thin (if it's possible) and new, not old. Thank you!

I put into my favourites some of my received cards that I like most or just cards of others that are interesting to me. So these are just examples of what I admire, not my exact demands! I strongly believe that a received card should be a lovely surprise :)
