About Bettina...
I'm 49 years old woman from Braunschweig, Germany.
My hobbies are: BookCrossing, to read, taking photographs, walking outdoors, driving by car or train, nature, animals, sightseeing... I love the German Capital, Berlin.
I'm interested in reading something about your life or I'd also like to know something about the town or country you live in.
I like original postcards, naive painting, Art, cartoons or postcards from zoos or parks. Of course also postcards from the town/ city you live in. Or cards that show traditions from your country. Are you talented? Paint your own postcard! Be creative...
BUT my very special favourite animals are pigs, expecially wild ones or rare breeds! Of course I don't eat them...
So I wouldn't mind to get some piggy-postcards... :-)
On Postcrossing I've seen postcards from Kaj Stenvall (with ducks that look alike Donald Duck)*hinthint*
I also like illustrations of fairytales or childrens books painted by Janusz Grabiański (from Poland). And I can also recommend Finlands Artist Virpi Pekkala... :-) And Reeta Isotupa-Siltanen! I've discovered her here on Postcrossing.
For landscape I like Impressions from the Toscana...
My "Favourites" may help you to find the kind of postcards I prefer :-)
I don't like Postcards with Horses, Cats or Dogs or Anne Geddes babies. Multicards only for exception.
Please write the actual Date on the Postcard you send me. I prefer card stamped and written (not blanco sent in an envelope). Thanks.
Feel free to ask me, if you have any questions about my life or my country.

Thank you all for your individual selection of postcards!
I've got already some cards with pigs (wonderful!) or Moomins, very interesting historical themes, impressions of your home or Art postcards! You told me about your life, your interests and what you're dreaming of- I'm a fairly new member of this community. But Postcrossing gives me much more than I expected- and more than "just" postcards. Great!
In 2010 I met a Postcrossing member from Beijing who is now student in Braunschweig. Sometimes the world is so small! :-D
