About Brandy...

I live on an island west of Seattle with my husband, James, our daughter, Talia-Marie (born on Jan. 1st, 2010), our cat, Chelsea and our adorable pug, Bogie. I love to bake, send postcards, buy postcards & stickers, scrapbook, cross-stitch, read and take photos. We love to go on adventures and explore different parks and beaches. I'm inspired to learn how to quilt and to create steampunk art.

I'm addicted to two shows: The Glades and Grimm. I also love NCIS, Justified and Ghost Hunters.

When I can, I love to donate to Toys for Tots (http://www.toysfortots.org), the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund (http://www.fallenheroesfund.org/) and the Salvation Army (http://www.salvationarmyusa.org). For various reasons, these organizations are close to my heart and I love to help when I can.

I have my Bachelor's in Criminal Justice in 2008 and earned a paralegal certificate in 2011. I work as a senior bankruptcy assistant in the bankruptcy department of my law firm. It's a lot of work, but also a lot of fun. I love my job!

I am really interested in the history of settling the Wild West. I would love and appreciate any postcards that show buildings, people, etc. Or if you know of any great books about the history, feel free to tell me about it. Tell me about your favorite hobby or craft that you like to do, why you like the town you live in, where you would like to travel or go on an adventure to, what kind of books you like to read, why you like to send postcards, what your goals and dreams are or what inspires you. :)

I love any postcards that will come my way! Homemade cards are always welcome too.

These are some of my favorite things:

- the old west/wild west/Native Americans
- anything related to steampunk
- coffee, cupcakes, cake, candy, sweets, etc.
- mailboxes, letters
- lighthouses, jellyfish, seahorses, starfish & crabs
- cats, pugs, huskies, wolves, buffalo, elk, reindeer and cows
- skeleton keys
- Coke products
- trains (preferably old coal or steam engines)
- snow/winter scenes and mountains
- Christmas
- Limoon

I prefer my cards written on and stamped without envelopes whenever possible. Please no advertising or religious themed postcards.

Please do not ask me to do private swaps unless it is related to the old west/wild west. Thank you!
