Hi all!

I am excited to be a part of such a great and diverse community. Sending and receiving letters/postcards brings absolute joy to me! There is something magical about picking just the right card, stamp, driving to the post office…the list goes on…it is like a ritual to me (and I am sure for many others on this website).

Beautiful Galveston Island on the Texas Gulf coast is a place I call home. So far, it’s been a great journey getting here, so I am enjoying every day of it!

I would be happy to receive any kind of postcard: nature, city view, something to reflect your culture and traditions. Please know that any message included will be greatly appreciated, but if you are thinking of an idea for the message, how about this – write about something you are thankful for. It can be a smallest event on the day you are writing a postcard, or may be something big that happened this year.

I find it very rewarding to reflect on things we can be thankful everyday. It is always easier to notice the negative, but thinking of blessings instead just “lifts you up”.

I enjoy reading and traveling, although the latter is postponed for now, since I graduated a couple of years ago and now work takes up a major part of my time. “Gone with the Wind” is one of my all time favorite movies, as well as “Cinema Paradiso”. Nikita Mikhalkov, Russian filmmaker and actor, is amazing in all of his artistic endeavors.
Scrapbooking is something that I enjoy doing and getting better at. I love seeing my family and friends’ expressions after they receive an album.

I am thankful for every new day, and all the wonderful opportunities it brings!
