Postcrossing is our family hobby. That's why our mail box practically every day has several postcards inside. To my mind sending postcards is not less interesting than receiving.
Please, don't send requests when your postcard isn't registered in 15-20-30 days. From experience postcards can travel across Europe more longer time, as well as between continents. I register every postcard as soon as I receive it, be patient.
And I'm NOT interested in swapping, sorry.
My preferences are very simple:
- handwritten modern viewcards (NOT multiview) of where you live or you've visited: places of interest, city views, typical landscapes of the region, historical buildings, bridges, interesting objects of nature. Write some sentences about the picture, please.
- animals - if possible unwritten postcards in an envelope.
- postcards from my wall of favourites.
- not ordinary stamps (used or mint) - for european senders: pre-EURO stamps if possible.
- NO: hand-made, old, AD or religious cards; home-made photographs; Easter, Christmas, and other greeting cards...
