Postcrossing decided your next card has to travel to me! Thats awesome because i love cool mail.

My name is Johan,
I live in Wevelgem - Gullegem, a small place in the southwest of Belgium. It is very close to the front area (Flanders Fields) were in 1914-1918 many soldiers have fought and lost their lives (Ypres).

The nearest touristic place is Bruges.

I'm a teacher computer science and engineering. I really like my job to work with young people. I think that I have chosen just right career :-)

I am married and we have two adult sons and one grandchild.

My hobbies are collecting stamps, ICT, postcrossing and make (short) trips. I'm trying to collect stamps from different countries. I will be very happy if you send me cards with (a) beautiful stamp(s).

I would be very happy to receive cards
- that show something typical of your country;
- flagcards (issue Postcardsmarket).
- I love also mapcards
- and maxi cards.

My least favourite cards are
- handmade cards,
- free cards,
- ad cards,
- folded cards,
- Christmas cards or religious cards.

Sorry. I would really appreciate if you don't send me cards that are typical of other countries than your own! (e.g. sending Eiffel Tower from China, or Taj Mahal from Germany...).

But every postcard is welcome and will put a smile on my face and sun in my heart as long as you send a real postcard!.

I prefer postcards handwritten, stamped and without an envelope. I like them "naked" ;-) I collect 10 x 15 cm (4 x 6 inches) in size cards (if possible).

It would be great if you could write me the date of sending the postcard, and something in your own language (with a translation in English). The more text on postcard, the better!
