Howdy! I am a professor, a runner, a writer, and a baker. I'm fond of knitting, fountain pens, and theater - among many other things.

I love to hear stories from people I've never met.

My favorite part of postcrossing is the things written on the cards. Tell me about your first kiss or your favorite toy as a child. Share a memory with me. Tell me how you're doing TODAY. What are you worried about right now? What are you excited about right now?

If you don't know what to write, I'd love it if you would draw a picture of your country or state or region. Or, if you would draw a picture of some everyday object that you use often. Or, anything you like to draw.

I like random, strange, or silly postcards especially, hand-made or found or recycled objects, but I will love anything you want to send me.

-stairwells
-vintage photographs
-black and white
-anything to do with literature or art
-baked things (cakes, cookies, cupcakes)
-gothic architecture, gargoyles, castles, statues,

-fashion

I don't care for photos of animals unless they are wildlife native to your region or photographed artistically. I prefer single-view cards over multi-view, but every card makes me happy.

***I'd be interested in exchanging any number of things aside from post cards - I'd especially like to swap mix CDs with you if you're interested. I'd love to get some music from your country or just the music that you like.
