Hi,

I'm Rosi and I live in the north of Germany. I collected postcards when I was younger and decided to continue when I found Postcrossing. When I registered last September I hoped not only to receive beautiful cards but also to make some new friends through this project and so I have! Thanks to everyone who has taught me about their country, about art or who has made me laugh by their card.

My favourites are "tourist" postcards which I prefer written and stamped without an envelope.

For example (and in no particular order):
- multi views of your town / city / country
- single views of sights
- city views, night views, maps
- people in traditional clothes
- traditions (please explain on the back of the card)
- typical animals, plants, fruits, food
- typical recipes of your region (vegetarian if possible)

I also collect:
- tigers (my favourite animals, folded tiger cards are also welcome).
- Bollywood (actors, film posters since 1995)

A tiger stamp on your card would make my day!

If you don't have any of the above at hand, here are a few more things I like:

- dinosaurs (esp. photos of skeletons from museums)
- cross stitching and other crafts
- Jane Austen's novels
- animals I like: giraffes, chipmunks, pandas, wolves, elephants
- TV series "Gilmore Girls", "Bones", "The Big Bang Theory"
- French romantic comedies, French cheese, my French boyfriend
- tea, chocolate, pizza, romantic candle light dinners, pancakes for breakfast
- the colour blue, the sea, the beach, the sky
- anything cute, colourful or funny

There is just one big NO: Please don't send any pictures of snakes, they scare me.

My favourites contain cards I have received and cards I would like to have. Before sending me one of them check up if I was the recipient, please. Thanks!

I can't upload your postcards right after I receive them but I eventually will, so don't worry. Please feel free, however, to upload your card before you send it to me.

I'm looking for new penpals from all around the world. If you're around my age and love writing, send me a message and I'll send you my address.

PS: My nickname is a homage to my all time favourite TV show "Gilmore Girls": In one show, Lorelai tells Rory that Kirk had called her "pretty spinster". ;-)
