About Tuula...

I'm a Finnish woman but have lived 7 years in Denmark.
I'm very interested in traveling, cooking, reading books, corresponding and I'm collecting stamps, postcards and Frog figures. I'm also a member of a local stamp club.

My hobbies are porcelain painting, drawing and I also draw/paint and print postcards designed by myself (for Christmas, birthdays, invitation cards and so on). Right now there is one animation I have drawn for a client in internet (a drop of water falling down), the address is www.wellrock.fi and I draw it about 8 years ago.
I enjoy very much this postcrossing even I started it just in December 2006.

Porvoo where I live is the second oldest town in Finland and situates by the junction of the river and the sea. The parish and the church are dated back to the 13th century. Already that time Porvoo was known as a trading place.

Still today the Old Porvoo is an idyllic and unique place visited by many tourists from all over the world. There are many old-fashioned, small boutiques side by side along the narrow streets that are covered by cobblestones. The cathedral in Porvoo is the 3rd most popular church in Finland, as measured in numbers of visitors. And you can't visit Porvoo without becoming aware of the red ochre sheds by the riverside. The town is also famous for antiques, handicrafts, arcitecture, art and artists (also for nowadays artists that are living here).

The most postcards I'll send will show you a part of the Old Porvoo.
