About Heather...

Ottawa is the capital city of Canada. It's a beautiful city, filled with museums, parks, and historic sites. It's also where the Canadian government sits- at Parliament. It is just south of the Ottawa River, and the Rideau canal runs right through downtown. There are lots of bike paths and good public transit.

As for me, I live in the south end of the city in an apartment I share with my cousin. We are both university students, although I go to Carleton University nearby, and she goes to the University of Ottawa downtown. I'm starting my fourth year of undergraduate studies in honours-level Cognitive Science.

I work at the university as a research assistant, and on the weekends as a security guard in an office building. My cousin is a tour guide for Parliament.

I would love to receive postcards of cityscapes, landmarks, pictures of houses or people. Tell me what it's like to live in your country, your favourite things about the places you live, or where you would like to travel. I've just started postcrossing, and I'm really looking forward to receiving your cards.
