I just stumbled upon this site, had never really thought about sending postcards to people I don't know. But the idea is fab and of course I couldn't resist joining! Who doesn't love getting a postcard every now and then?
I love to read. I also love to travel. I am a photo-amateur. I am married and have two children. I am a teacher. I am interested in history (although my memory is lousy so I can never remember anything about dates).
Some of my postcards are written by my students, I bring a couple of addressed cards to school and they write something on them when my imagination is running low.
I really don't have any preferences when it comes to postcards, because I have never thought about it as something to collect. I do however love beautiful things although beauty is in the eye of the beholder and so on... Let's try this one: Send me a postcard that YOU think is beautiful! If you can't come up with anything to write, tell me why you love the picture you're sending. I'd love to hear about it!
I put all my postcards on the wall of my guest bathroom. That way everyone who visits (it) has something to think about ;-P
I like some kind of writing on my postcard - no envelops please.
