About Marie...

Hi, I am Marie Antonette but you guys can call me Tonie for short. I am Filipino (Philippines) but currently living in the USA. I grew up in Dubai, United Arab Emirates but left for the Philippines when I was 10 years old because of health reasons.

I am now 34 and a mother of 3 boys aged 11, 10 and 3. I love writing; it always has been my passion just as much as reading. When I was younger I would always write letters to my friends. I remember I used to have a penpal too. Unfortunately we've lost touch. I guess she wasn't passionate as I am in writing.

It interests me a lot when someone takes the time to sit and write something out to another person. It means that your kind of special because effort was put into it.

I'm glad that postcrossing.com was made. It is just so much better to write than just type up an email.

Nothing in particular really. Maybe a famous tourist spot in your country. A nice scenery or a picture of tulips (i love tulips!). I like Cartoons, Hello Kitty, My Melody, and Garfield too. Anything lovely and funny!
