Greetings from Finland to all you postcrossers around the world!
What a great way this is to learn to know new people and cultures. I am always excited to see from whom and from where I have received mail. Actually I am more interested in the backside (that means the text you have written) of the card than the picture side. But if I should mention some kinds of cards I like they are ones showing the place you live in or something about your culture or history. If you want to surprise my daughter instead, you can send me also a card with "Hello Kitty" picture. But really the text you have written is the most important!
I am at my forties, a mother of three little children. Besides postcrossing I am into writing letters. It is my passion for which, unfortunately, I occationally have too little time. But I am always looking for more penfriends who love writing long letters and don't stop after a couple of letters without any explanation. And of course, I love reading. Well, it is related to my job, too. I am collecting bookmarks and stamps.
