About Teresa...

In the States, I work in the legal field. (yawn) Recently, I spent 2 years teaching English (2007-2009)to kids in Beijing, China, and it was absolutely the time of my life. I should have been a teacher. China feels like my second home now. I still miss my life there.

I like to read about other cultures. I have visited about 15 countries. I love having international friends, getting to know and understand other peoples and their cultures, traveling, reading (fiction and non-fiction), writing (I'm a journaler), photo-journaling, creativity, and mail. I enjoy writing and sending little handmade cards to my friends. They love and appreciate them, which is what they tell me when they email me instead of writing back. :( I love writing with fountain pens and different colored inks.

I have no preference on postcards types. Actually, whatever PC you choose to send will be so special just because it's a reflection of who YOU are and I feel that's a huge part of exchanging among stranger friends. :) So send any image whatsoever and I will truly appreciate it. Ad cards are okay if they are really cool! I hope you'll write a little something about yourself or where you live or what you are doing right now in life. If you'd like a PC in return outside of postcrossing then please include a return address and I'll do my best to return a PC from Nashville!

I also love stamps! I love artsy colorful doodling and such and tend to doodle on postcards sent and also on just about every journal entry I write.

I love all the colors of the ocean best...with sea green probably my most favorite color. I like winter better than summer and fall better than spring. I enjoy hiking and camping.

I love animals and have owned both cats and dogs in the past. My last feline companion, Max, died 3 years ago. I do not currently have a pet.

I'm a single Mom of one wonderful adult son.
