Living in Virginia, I love books, dogs, and many outdoor activities. Started letterboxing early this year and hope to be able to travel to many states and countries to appreciate these small, hidden works of art (www.atlasquest.com). I enjoy taking time to smell the roses in life, to slow down and appreciate beauty in unusual and everyday places. I'm also a hobby writer of fantasy and mystery stories.
In my 20s, married with no kids but the four-legged sort. Graduated from college, went back to school for a career change and am now a phlebotomist for the American Red Cross. I moved quite a bit as a kid so am accustomed to keeping up long-distance friendships, and Postcrossing seemed like an awesome way to see into even more parts of the world. As such, I'd love it if you would add something to your card stating what you think is the best part of either your country or town, or a little-known point of interest.
As for the postcards, I do really enjoy unique viewpoints, beautiful places, or something else unique about you or where you live. Also love vintage stuff, artwork, literary cards - BUT, I will be happy with pretty much any card you send me - I just love getting mail! Please DO write on your card, the traveled look of them is part of the fun! It's a nice break from the computers screens and text messages. If you make a note on the card stating you'd like one back will do my best to oblige. :)
