Greetings from the Black Hills of South Dakota!!
This region of South Dakota is very beautiful and there are many national and state parks to visit: Mt. Rushmore, Jewel Cave, Badlands, Devils Tower (Wyoming), Custer State park... tons of stuff to do and see! :) The famous Sturgis motorcycle rally (occurs every August) and the historic town of Deadwood are also just down the road, as well.
I'm a 32 year old happily married female. I grew up on a cattle ranch on the rolling prairie and this fostered my love for the outdoors. I am at my happiest when I'm in nature...
I work as a biologist and love my occupation. I've worked on various research projects here in South Dakota, as well as in a variety of other states and even overseas. I specialize in herpetology (meaning that I work with reptiles and amphibians) but over the years I've worked with a variety of other creatures including big cats, bears, raptors, parrots, hoof-stock... I love them all. :)
I enjoy traveling and have spent time in various countries in Europe, Africa, South America, the Middle East, Asia and the Caribbean both for research and leisure. I've also been to about half of the states in the U.S.
In regards to preferences: as long as it's not a blank index card, I'm happy with anything that you choose! :)
I also participate in direct swaps and in addition to South Dakota cards, I can also send Wyoming and I occasionally have North Dakota cards, too.
