About Kim...

Hello! My name is Kim. I am a wife for 22 years and mother of 3 children, ages 18, 13, and 8. The things I enjoy doing are geocaching, crafts, listening to music (and singing along), dancing, and most of all, spending time with my family. I work for the Early Head Start program. We work with small children and families who have financial difficulties, or are in need of help because of some other circumstance (domestic violence, drugs, "special needs" child, etc). It is very fulfilling to me.

I am fascinated by all parts of world, the different peoples, customs, cultures, geographies, etc. However, I have not traveled much (the only other country I have visited is Canada, which is only about 3 hours from where I live) and have lived in Western Washington State my whole life, so it is through other sources that I get to travel "virtually". I am learning so much about our world through postcrossing!

I am really looking forward to receiving postcards from all over the world and sharing them with my children. Although any postcard will be welcomed, I would love to see and hear about anything to do with the region you live in. My favorites are (not in any particular order):

children
fairies
gnomes
nature
animals (especially HIPPOS- I like horses too!)
cartoons
children's favorites
humorous
buildings/landmarks
Moomin

Also, I got this idea from another postcrosser...if you would like to tape/attach something "local" to the card (A leaf, a bus ticket, train ticket, coin, etc.) that would be very special!

Thank you for writing and much happiness to you!
