About Erin...

I'm Erin, from Atlanta! I love all things theatre--(I was a theatre and french double-major in college) and I sing opera. I love hiking and spending time outdoors. I moved to Wyoming for 4 months right after graduating from Wake Forest University, so I love the mountains and the feel of the "Old West". I of course love the 'preppy Southern sorority girl' feeling, too. I'm VERY multi-faceted!
I collect anything with cupcakes, hot air balloons, Eiffel Towers, and Samoyeds, so I'd love postcards with any of those on them!
I also love sweets and candy of any kind...and I love dogs, especially SAMOYEDS! (Can you tell I have a Samoyed?) ;)
My Samoyed, Yogi, is another big part of my life. He is still FULL of "puppy" energy! He is the light of my day and never stops showing his love for me and everyone else! He thinks anyone he meets is his new best friend. I grew up with Samoyeds so they've always been near to my heart; my parents exhibited them, so I'm continuing this family tradition. I am training to be his handler in the ring. I'm nervous but excited to enter the world of Dog Shows. Any other dog exhibitors out there? I would love to compare experiences!
I studied abroad in Paris for a semester of university, so anything Parisian or French gives me that 'moment privilégié', made famous by Proust. I am a complete Francophile. I am fluent in French, so I WOULD love a card written in French!
My parents are wine connoisseurs, so I appreciate fine wine. I also enjoy quality beer. My favorite beers are ciders…but Kronenbourg 1664 was my pint of choice at the bars while living in Paris!
I have traveled all over the world, both with my family and also on my own. I have been to most major European countries, Russia, a few places in South America, and I've been nearly all over Central America, particularly the Caribbean.
I am a SCUBA diver and am very passionate about diving and marine life. A few lifetime dreams of mine are: to dive the Great Barrier Reef, to dive with whale sharks, and to cage-dive with the Great Whites.
My favorite color is teal. I enjoy shopping for new shoes and makeup.
One thing that I'm a complete 'nerd' about is outer space & the exploration thereof. Space and 'The Unknown' has fascinated me since before I can remember. I'll spend hours reading about the various theories about the Universe, viewing photographs of far-away galaxies, reflecting on what else could be 'out there' besides us. If you have a postcard with anything involving outer space, I would LOVE it!

In a nutshell, my postcard requests would be: Cupcakes, Dogs, Samoyeds, Outer Space, SCUBA Diving, Wine/Beer, Hot Air Balloons, French or Parisian cards, Eiffel Towers, Western/Cowboy themes, Opera/Music, Shoes, Makeup, Travel, Marine Life, Mountains, Turtles, Candy/Sweets...
