About Paul...

I'm Paul, and I'm an author living in Michigan, USA. I have varied interests; I love to travel, though I don't get to as much as I would like. While I enjoy movies and television often, I am an avid reader and spend a good deal of time reading.

I enjoy my writing, and I strive to write more substantive materials with the passage of years. I don't have any particular affinity for fiction over non-fiction, or non-fiction over fiction. They both have their place and both are equally fun to write. If you have the image that writers are great typists and spell great you are sadly mistaken. A writer's expertise is in rhetoric, in the higher mechanics of language construction, not in the physical mechanics of getting that material on the page.

I addition to writing, my wife and I grow a big garden in the summer, and we are both accomplished cooks, which works out well when you grow lots of food! We are continually trying new dishes, and new foods when we can find something new. We like to frequent ethnic markets whenever possible in the hopes of discovering some new delicacy or ingredient!

I am eager to see what postcards I might receive and from whom and where! As a professional communicator, connecting with other people is one of the great joys in life.
