Je m'appelle... ;)

I'm Monika and I've been addicted to sending postcards, does it sound familiar to you?
I find it interesting getting in touch with people living in completely different conditions. I'm absolutely pleased when I can read messages about someones thoughts, habits, feelings and see how many similarities we can have =)
For me, it is a project that involves me fully so that I really apreciate people who would like to write more than the words "Hello" and "Happy postcrossing", but I must say it's all right.
I'm just happy when I receive something from the heart!

Is there something what you want to know about me? I'll try to make a short notice, but remember - you can always write a message to me ;) I'm also keen on DIRECT SWAPS!

So...
I'm Monika and I live in Gdańsk, in the north of Poland, for all my quite short life (I'm 18). I'm in the last year in High School and I'm very curious when I'll be living, studying next year :)
The activities I like the most is walking, drinking coffee or hot chocolate with friends, also listening to music (now the most frequent type is jazz, I love many jazz standards played by artists from different 'times'; I'm a fun of The Beatles and I like new album of Kasabian=)). I have a feeling that I must read many books so I have big slopes of it in my room, but unfortunately, only some of them will be distinguished - I don't have enough time...
I know, I know, these interests are rather common. I also have a cat Milek and a dog Diego, I love travelling and an early autumn.

Yet you know some things that may tell you what is the best for me, if we're talking about the postcards, I suppose.
If not, feel free to send me anything you'd like to receive ;)
I'm also waiting for the interesting notes about words meaning, relations between your language and English, or yours and mine.
