About Sylvia...

Hi postcrossers!

My name is Sylvia and I live in a small village near Zurich, some kilometers south of the place shown by the map.

I am originally from Germany and moved to Switzerland in 2008 to live together with my better half.
I like reading, knitting, geocaching, hiking in the mountains, skiing and watching soccer. My favourite team is VfB Stuttgart (I grew up near Stuttgart).

If you do not know what kind of postcard to send - here are some ideas:

- famous sights
- beautiful sceneries
- the country you live in
- people, animals or plants from your country
- castles
- beaches
- world heritage sites
- animals (I love cats, cows, camels, zebras, tigers and birds)
- plants (cactus, orchid, bloomers, trees...)
- cartoons (especially Garfield, Donald Duck)
- sports (skiing, soccer, tennis, dancing, ballett)
- black and white
- art (if possible from an artist of your country)
- cinema (Twilight, Star Wars, Star Trek ...)
- other beautiful things

If you still do not know: have a look at my favourites.

Gratis or ad cards are very welcome if the picture is nice but I am not a big fan of handmade cards.
If possible I like to receive the cards written and stamped, not in an envelope.

If you are a French or Spanish native speaker, please write your card in French/Spanish - I want to improve my language skills :)

Please be informed that I delete all uploaded pictures when I register a card. Don't worry, I scan every card and upload it myself.
