I'm a 40-year-old girl who's originally from Huntsville, Alabama, U.S.A., but has lived in famous Las Vegas, Nevada for 11 years now. I have 6 rescued cats and work as a copyright lawyer; I've never been married and I don't have any (human) kids. My biggest love is travel--so far the other countries I've visited (in chronological order) are France, Switzerland, England, Jamaica, Singapore, Malta, the Netherlands, Bulgaria, Romania, Mexico, Sweden, Bolivia, and Germany.
My other hobbies and interests include: reading and writing fiction, container gardening, crocheting, sewing, independent and international cinema, Mid-Century Modern architecture and design (my avatar is a picture of my mom and dad from around 1966), paper crafts, indie pop music, 'zines, and snail-mail pen-palling (new female pals are always welcome!). I love learning new languages, so please feel free to write me a message in your own language!
I am happy to receive any postcard you want to send me. Unlike a lot of people I LOVE ad-cards, especially if they're local to your city--I find them really interesting windows into other cultures! I also have a special love of cards showing hotels, casinos, and food. But, really, send me whatever you want to send--it's not about the card, it's about the long-distance connection...
