Hello postcrossers around the world.
I love traveling, art (films, music, photography, literature), history, and ... exchanging postcards with people from around the world.
Aerial views of UNESCO/ancient/historical sites, old abbeys, monasteries, mosques, temples, libraries, universities, forts, castles, palaces, and unique architecture are only some of the postcards I like.
Your country's royalty, leaders, artists, and common people are special postcards too.
As for art, Islamic art, orientalism, old movie posters, and b & w photography are old time favorites.
US: Please send postcards related to the history of your state.
Don't mean to sound picky, but holiday (Christmas/Easter), nature, animals, funny, adverising or handmade cards are not cards I look forward to receiving. Since we are all different people, they will make someone else happier.
Please write an explanation in the back of your postcard. Learning things about other places and cultures is as important as receiving your postcard.
