Hello!
My name is Annemiek, but most people call me Miek. I'm 23 years old, married to the love of my life and we live together with our dog, Damie (Golden Retriever) and our pet rabbit, Dexter. I am a student (I study animal care) and I have a slight obsession for sea otters and Eeyore.
Animals are very important to me, as are music, movies, TV shows and of course friends & family. I'm also into tattoos, sneakers, reading, Disney, nature, theatre, poetry, humor, hiking, peace, the sixties, dancing, fitness, concerts, festivals.. and many more things.
Things that (among other things) upset me are war, poverty, animal cruelty, abuse, rape, bullying, etc...
When it comes down to music, I have 3 favorite bands: Silverchair, the Beatles and Papa Roach. Some other bands/artists I like are Staind, Pink, Maria Mena, Gavin DeGraw, Anathema, Backstreet Boys, Stone Sour, Moby, NIN, Elliott Smith, Debussy, Gossip... it varies. There's not just 1 genre or style that I like. Same goes for movies, I like almost all genres. Watching a movie almost always makes me happy. Then there's TV shows.. I watch way too many, to be honest. Some of the shows I watch: SuperNatural, the Mentalist, True Blood, Dexter, Grey's Anatomy, House M.D....
Postcards that really make me happy are cards with:
-SEA OTTERS (note: they are different from 'normal' river otters)
-Dogs (esp. puppies)
-Other (baby)animals
-Rachael Hale photography

-Movies (or anything related to it)
-Australia/Canada/London/New York/Hollywood/Prague/the Berlin Wall

-Peace / the 60ies
-Fantasy (fairies, unicorns, trolls, etc)
-Vampires
-Halloween
-anything that you think I'll like after reading my profile
If possible, don't send me a typical "touristic" or religious card.
Remember, these are wishes, not demands ;), I'll be happy with any card you think is appropriate to send me (it's the thought that counts).
Feel free to send me seasonal cards, or a birthdaycard around the 7th of June.
I really appreciate it if you write something about yourself, the card or your country on it :) writing something in your own language with translation is something that will definitely make me smile.
